Digital Sports Ventures delivers Division I college sports video and interactive applications to media websites and mobile devices. To showcase their products, they asked us to create consumer-facing website called Sports Central, where sports fans can follow their favorite teams, engage with each other and have access to college video highlights. We developed a logo system that not only branded the site, but created a visual platform to present a variety of sports, conferences and teams. We also designed the website.

For a couple of years now, we’ve been helping St. Teresa’s Academy reinvent their prospective student materials. They have to appeal to a dual audience - young girls and their parents. So the challenge was designing pieces that communicated both the spirited fun of St. Teresa’s, but also the high academic and moral standards. The new direction has been a hit so far, clearly setting St. Teresa’s apart from their competition.

Lyric Opera Brochure

Lyric Opera – Collateral
Our partnership with the Lyric Opera goes back almost two decades. Our work has, traditionally, always focused on standout, award-winning creative design. More recently, however, we’ve help them explore new tactics that target a younger opera audience. A brochure that showed the funnier side of opera and other guerilla executions helped soften the formality that most people associate with the opera. In just one season, those efforts led to a 12% increase in ticket sales.

Grenk New Brand Materials

Grenk – New Brand Materials
InkCycle is a Kansas City-based provider of remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for commercial businesses. A while back, they launched a new product called grenk – the first environmentally friendly ink cartridge in the U.S. The new line was a monumental achievement in the category, which had been traditionally associated with a wide range of adverse environmental practices. MBB was asked to create a name for the new product line, logo and packaging designs, a new website and collateral materials for their field representatives.
