PayPal – Print / Outdoor
Since 2006 we’ve been helping PayPal’s human resources division with their recruiting efforts. The initial campaign, produced in less than a week, has been a huge success, and has since been picked up by PayPal’s European and Far East divisions. The work also led to other assignments with PayPal’s parent company, eBay.

Tour de BBQ – Poster
The Livestrong Army of Kansas City is a local volunteer extension of Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong fight against cancer. Their signature fundraiser – the Tour De BBQ – is a citywide bike ride. Being Kansas City, of course, the route takes you past half a dozen of the best barbeque joints in the city. Being cyclists (well, some of us) and BBQ lovers (all of us), MBB couldn’t say no to helping out. We partnered up to design the poster and a website. Last year was just their second year, but they registered 2000 riders, making it the largest ride in Kansas City.

Children’s Hospital of Illinois – Print / Outdoor
When Children’s Hospital of Illinois came to MBB’s healthcare division, hippo, it’d been more than five years since they’d done any new creative. They’d been running the same old spots over and over. They needed something fresh. Something different. They had a limited budget, so we took an animated approach. Colorful “noodles” take us playfully through the spots while we learn what it means to be the area’s leading children’s hospital. TV and radio added additional support.

First National Bank of Olathe – Print / Outdoor
It’s hard to love a bank. Any bank. They all seem to go out of their way to frustrate you and make you mad. First National Bank of Olathe wanted to be different. They routinely changed policies and procedures to better accommodate their customers. Like the 2pm cut-off for deposits. We liked that It was, well, very un-bank like. So did a campaign that was very un-bank like. Which in our mind, was sort of like “banking fresh.”

Aristocrat Motors – Print
Beautiful cars make beautiful posters. A clever headline doesn’t hurt either. Here’s a series of ads we did for Kansas City’s leading luxury automobile dealer.
