Consumers Union – Soap Banner Ad
As the advocacy arm – and publisher – of Consumer Reports, Consumers Union engages in literally hundreds of consumer initiatives every year. This one was to encourage people to urge Congress to establish a consumer financial protection agency. We helped out with a banner ad, soliciting people to sign an online petition. The creative tapped directly into America’s anger with dishonest CEOs who would do anything to increase profits. We decided it was time to “clean things up.”
